Good forHistory buffs
Built in Plymouth in 1680, moved first to Truro in 1770, then to Eastham in 1793, and again to its present site near Town Hall in 1808 — this windmill has been relocated more than most people move in a lifetime. It is the oldest windmill on Cape Cod and, as part of the Eastham Center Historic District, has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1999. Every year since 1977, the town has gathered around it the first weekend after Labor Day for Eastham Windmill Weekend.
