Egg Harbor Village Historic District

The village sits on a bay-side harbor along WI-42, established as a community in the 1850s as Door County's settler and maritime economy was taking shape. Its compact commercial district has since oriented itself toward the tourism corridor that now defines the peninsula — Door County draws over $600 million in annual tourism economic impact. The harbor remains the organizing fact of the place.
