Federal Hill – Atwells Avenue

Providence calls Federal Hill its Little Italy, and the name holds. Settled largely by Italian-American immigrants in the early 1900s, the neighborhood runs along Atwells Avenue and the surrounding streets. Travel & Leisure ranked it among the top five Little Italy neighborhoods in the country. The dining alone — Italian, Lebanese, Cuban, and more — makes the case.
