Hinckley Yacht Company

Founded in 1928 to build and care for boats along the Maine coast, Hinckley has operated continuously for nearly a century from Southwest Harbor. The company started among working lobstermen and grew into one of the most recognized names in American yacht building — early to adopt fiberglass when traditionalists scoffed, and still building from the same rocky stretch of Acadian coastline that shaped the boats in the first place.
