Ancient City Baptist Church

National Register of Historic Places

The Romanesque Revival church on Sevilla Street has stood in St. Augustine since 1895, organized by a congregation that first gathered in 1887. Dr. Robert Hayling led civil rights work here. The tan brick exterior, rounded doorways, and arched windows remain. It is a National Register property still in active use.
