Little Long Pond Carriage Road Loop

John D. Rockefeller Jr. purchased the land around Little Long Pond for its scenic value, and for decades it stayed private. In 2015, it was donated and opened to the public. The pond sits within roughly 1,000 acres of forest, meadow, and marsh — carriage roads looping its edge, no bicycles allowed, open dawn to dusk.
