Kalaloch Campground (Beach 4 Tide Pools)

Beach 4 sits along the Kalaloch stretch of Olympic National Park's coast, where tide pools surface at low tide holding anemones, sea stars, sea urchins, and other marine invertebrates. The NPS provides an accessible lookout point here. Time your visit to the tide charts — the pools only reveal themselves when the water pulls back. Closed-toe shoes that can get wet are the right call.
