Good forOutdoor lovers
Ruby Beach sits at the northernmost point of the southern coastal beaches in Olympic National Park, on Highway 101 in Jefferson County. The beach takes its name from the ruby-like crystals that gather in the sand. It's known for its sea stacks and for the driftwood — tremendous amounts of it — piled along the shore. Destruction Island and its lighthouse are visible roughly four miles offshore.
