Estadio Francisco Montaner, Ponce

Built in 1947 and opened on 15 October 1949, Estadio Francisco Montaner holds 16,000 people and has never settled on a single sport. The stadium hosts baseball, track and field, and soccer — and the track itself disappears during baseball season, lowered and covered by a hydraulic system, then raised again come February. Named for Francisco "Paquito" Montaner, one of Puerto Rico's great pitchers, it remains home to the Leones de Ponce of the Liga Roberto Clemente.
