National Register of Historic Places
Good forLive-music fansArts & culture lovers

Built in 1864, Teatro La Perla is the second oldest theater in Puerto Rico — and, according to Wikipedia, the largest and most historic in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. The neoclassical building, designed by Juan Bertoli Calderoni with a six-column entrance, survived the 1918 earthquake, was rebuilt using the original plans, and reopened in 1941. It seats 1,047 and remains an active venue. The lobby holds a small museum dedicated to the building's history. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
